Concrete Repair & Resurfacing
A coating is only as good as the concrete underneath it. Our concrete repair and resurfacing service fixes cracks, spalls, pits, and failed joints so your new floor goes down on a sound, level surface — and stays bonded for the life of the coating.

[ 01 ] — Overview
Fix the slab before you finish it.
Colorado's freeze-thaw cycle is hard on concrete. Water gets into cracks, freezes, expands, and progressively breaks the slab apart — and road salt and deicers accelerate surface spalling. Before any coating goes down, we repair that damage with structural fillers and polymer-modified mortars that bond permanently and grind flush.
We also handle joint repair, surface leveling, and resurfacing for slabs that are too far gone for a simple patch. Whether it's prep for one of our coating systems or a standalone repair, the goal is the same: a solid, level, durable surface you can build on.

[ 02 ] — Why It Works
What you get with this system
Stops damage from spreading
Sealing and filling cracks keeps water out, which stops the freeze-thaw cycle from turning a small crack into a failed slab.
Permanent, flush repairs
We use structural fillers and polymer mortars that we grind flush — so repairs disappear under the finished coating instead of telegraphing through.
Level, sound surface
Resurfacing and leveling correct uneven, pitted, or worn slabs so your coating goes on smooth and even.
Extends coating life
Proper repair is the difference between a coating that lasts decades and one that fails at the weak spots within a year.
[ 03 ] — The Process
How we install it
01
Assess
We inspect the slab for cracks, spalls, moisture, and joint failure and recommend exactly what it needs — no upselling.
02
Repair
Cracks are chased and filled, spalls and pits are rebuilt with polymer mortar, and failed joints are restored.
03
Grind flush
All repairs are diamond-ground flush and level with the surrounding slab for a seamless surface.
04
Coat or seal
From there we apply your chosen coating system, or seal the repaired concrete if you're not coating it yet.

Concrete Repair & Resurfacing FAQ
- Can you fix cracks in my garage floor before coating?
- Yes — that's a standard part of every coating project. We chase and fill cracks with a structural filler, rebuild spalled areas with polymer mortar, then grind everything flush so the repairs disappear under the finished floor.
- Do you offer concrete repair without a coating?
- We do. While most repairs are prep for one of our coating systems, we also handle standalone crack, spall, and joint repair and can seal the concrete afterward.
- Why does Colorado concrete crack and spall so much?
- Our freeze-thaw cycle is the main culprit: water enters the concrete, freezes and expands, and breaks it apart over time. Deicing salts make surface spalling worse. Repairing and sealing the slab is what stops that cycle.
